Launched in April 2012, the automated parking project at 32 Nguyen Cong Tru, Hai Ba Trung was Hanoi’s first elevated steel-frame parking system. Just three months later, on 16 July 2012, the facility was officially inaugurated and warmly welcomed by local residents.

The project is operated and managed by Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco), with total investment of VND 13 billion. On 10 May 2012—one month after construction began—Transerco signed an equipment-supply contract with Viet Chao Joint Stock Company worth VND 8.5 billion. This early agreement reflected Transerco’s confidence in Viet Chao, as well as the company’s reputation and product quality.

Optimised parking space

This project uses DONGYANG (AJ) family parking systems from South Korea comprising 4 systems and 5 parking levels. The facility occupies 125 m². A conventional car park of this size could accommodate only 5–6 vehicles (at roughly 25 m² per space), while this smart parking system provides capacity for 30 vehicles.

Improved traffic conditions

Located in central Hanoi, the 32 Nguyen Cong Tru facility gives residents a convenient, modern parking option. Since it entered operation, congestion in the area has eased significantly because drivers no longer need to park on pavements or roadsides. This also improves the urban streetscape and makes travel more comfortable.

Enhanced urban-user experience

Compared with conventional car parks, vehicle parking and retrieval here are exceptionally fast: the full process takes only 2–3 minutes. Drivers simply position the vehicle at the entrance, and the automated system moves it to its parking space. The parking fee is also reasonable at VND 30,000 per two hours—lower than at some traditional car parks.

Belvedere Tran Hung Dao project

Although the building’s basement is not large, the model makes full use of the available space by stacking vehicles on a robust steel frame. The system lift is speed-optimised, substantially reducing travel time; customers take no more than five minutes to retrieve a vehicle. Its lifting platform also incorporates a turntable that turns the vehicle toward the exit, creating a highly convenient retrieval experience for drivers.

Belvedere’s automated parking facility also has a straightforward control system that is easy for all users. Its 10-digit touchscreen panel is minimal, intelligent and refined.
